Welcome to Alpha Phi! My name is Maddy Ringer, and I am so honored to serve as the Vice President of Membership Recruitment.

Going through recruitment, I remember the building feelings of anxiety as I would step into each house. As soon as I walked into Alpha Phi, I felt an overwhelming sense of calmness. Talking to each girl in the house I felt like I could be truly be myself. 

Whether it’s catching up at meals or studying together for hours on the porch, it has continued to be a place where I leave feeling fulfilled. This sisterhood has given me friendships that I know will last way beyond my college years. Friends who constantly encourage me, support me, and make me want to be a better version of myself. From becoming roommates, to traveling the world together, they've been there for so many of my favorite memories. 

As you go through recruitment, I hope you find a place that gives you that same sense of comfort and belonging. A place where you feel confident, supported, and completely yourself. My best advice is to enjoy every conversation, and take it all in. Keep an open mind and appreciate the differences each chapter has to offer. I hope you find your second home in the same way I was so lucky to find mine. We can’t wait to meet you and share what makes Alpha Phi so meaningful to all of us!
